 Dr. Albert Karnig, President of California State University San Bernardino (CSUSB), has been contributing to Arrowhead United Way (AUW) for over 11 years.
Obviously, his passion is rooted in education, but he strives to bridge the gap between higher education and the community. As a community leader, he serves on several boards addressing education, health care, economic growth, and quality of life in the Inland Empire. AUW shares the same vision.
He actively supports the work of AUW and values AUW's long-standing efforts in improving the region. And, in regard to AUW’s collaboration with CSUSB’s Voluntary Income Tax Assistance program, he commends AUW for being a forward-thinking organization that enables the University to offer the program which greatly benefits local citizens, particularly those from low-income households. This program also educates families and helps them obtain the Earned Income Tax Credit.
His passion to be actively involved in his community is how he lives united.

How Do We Conduct A Campaign?
The Arrowhead United Way Campaign Staff will assist you from start to completion to make conducting a campaign as easy as 1-2-3!
- Select an employee to be the Campaign Coordinator.
- Work with Arrowhead United Way to schedule and implement an employee campaign presentation.
- Work with Arrowhead United Way to finalize campaign results.
