Pamela Montana, Arrowhead United Way Board Member, appointed to serve on United Way Worldwide advisory body to provide strategic direction on issues impacting individuals and families.
Arrowhead United Way and their Women United® group congratulate Pamela Montana on the appointment to the Women United Global Leadership Council (WUGLC), an advisory body dedicated to advancing opportunities for individuals and families in nearly 200 communities across the globe, and open to all people who share in the mission of Women United.
“Women United is a powerful force for change, bringing together strong, passionate leaders dedicated to improving lives and strengthening communities. As we embark on this journey, I look forward to working alongside so many incredible leaders, like Pamela, to drive meaningful impact, foster collaboration, and elevate the voices of those who need us most. Together, we can inspire, empower, and create lasting change," said Jenny Holsman Tetreault, Chair of the WUGLC.
WUGLC represents members working with United Way in communities worldwide. Pamela underwent a rigorous nominations process and were selected by the Council for her experience, commitment to Women United, and proven investment in United Way’s mission.
Pamela Montana joins four other newly appointed members:
- Pamela Beall-Hill, United Way of the Midlands
- Ashley Bell Barnett, United Way of Central Florida
- Michelle Delery, United Way of Southeast Louisiana
- Siobhan Harman, United Way of Central Iowa
The Council serves as an advisory body providing strategic recommendations to United Way Worldwide as well as a key mobilizer that engages leaders to help strengthen families, such as access to quality, affordable, and educational childcare. The group, representing over 50,000 members, also supports the growth of Women United globally.
WUGLC members fuel impact work in their communities through their United Ways, including donating, volunteering, and advocating for efforts to strengthen community resilience and advance health, youth opportunity, and financial security so all can thrive.
